Who we are and how to contact us

Committed Independence LLC, operating as Independent Arms, operates independentarms.net in Citronelle, Alabama. For privacy questions or requests, email independentarmsllc@gmail.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.

This policy covers information associated with visiting this website and contacting us through its published email address. Separate notices may apply to information provided through third-party services or in connection with activities outside this website.

Information collected

Information you provide. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and any name, telephone number, or other details you choose to include. Please do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, payment-card details, identification documents, or other sensitive information through ordinary email.

Website and hosting information. Our website is hosted through Northwest Registered Agent and includes hosting-installed usage-tracking and analytics components. Northwest’s Hosting Terms of Service describe its limited right to store, transmit, and process hosted data to provide hosting services, resource-usage monitoring, malware scanning, and system-level backups for recovery. Its Privacy Policy describes its own service and website data practices. Its statements about tracking on Northwest’s website do not establish which tracking occurs on independentarms.net. The hosting installation includes components named CTracker and WordPress Analytics. We have requested clarification from Northwest about their visitor data fields, recipients, cookies, retention periods, and opt-out controls. Those details have not yet been confirmed, and this policy will be updated when that information is available.

Age confirmation. The website asks whether you are 21 or older. Its Yes/No prompt does not ask for your birth date or identity documents. A browser cookie records that the age threshold was accepted; it does not establish your actual age or verify your identity.

WordPress accounts. Authorized website users have account information such as usernames, email addresses, profiles, and settings. Account and security activity may be processed to operate and protect the website. A password-reset request can include an IP address in its notification.

How information is used

We use information to respond to inquiries, communicate with you, operate and maintain the website, apply the age-access prompt, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable obligations.

Cookies and browser controls

The Age Gate plugin uses an age_gate cookie to remember a successful age confirmation during the browser session. The optional long-term “Remember me” feature is not enabled. WordPress also uses cookies for its login and authorized-user functions, including browser-cookie testing, authentication, and display preferences. Login cookies normally last two days, or two weeks if an authorized user chooses “Remember Me”; display-preference cookies may last a year, and an editing cookie may last one day.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent the age prompt or login functions from working. Additional hosting analytics cookies or storage mechanisms are still being verified with Northwest.

Service providers and other disclosures

Information may be processed by services needed to provide website hosting, email delivery and storage, maintenance, and security. These include our hosting service through Northwest Registered Agent and Google’s Gmail service for the published contact address. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, misuse, or threats to safety and security. The hosting provider’s exact analytics recipients and any independent use of visitor data remain under review; this notice does not represent that hosting analytics are anonymous or that provider processing involves no sale or advertising-related sharing.

Third-party websites

This site refers visitors to third-party services, including GunBroker. Their privacy policies govern information you provide on their services. This policy does not describe or control their collection, accounts, cookies, or transactions. If third-party media is embedded on this website in the future, the policy and any required controls must be updated before enabling that collection.

Retention and security

Email inquiries and attachments remain in our business email system unless deleted. Authorized-user information is stored in WordPress while the account exists and may also remain in backups. A specific business-email retention period has not yet been confirmed for this notice. Northwest’s hosted-site analytics, log, and backup retention periods have not yet been confirmed. Contact us to ask about retained information or request deletion, subject to applicable legal obligations and technical limitations.

The website uses HTTPS and account access controls. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices and requests

We may need to verify your identity using information proportionate to the request. Applicable law may require retaining certain information or permit exceptions. Do not send government identification by ordinary email unless a suitable verification process has been arranged.

Tracking signals

We have not verified that the current website or its hosting analytics respond automatically to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. We are asking our hosting provider about signal handling and any collection across other websites. Browser cookie controls may limit some storage but do not necessarily stop server-side logging. You may also contact us with a privacy or opt-out request; any rights under applicable law remain unaffected by this notice.

Children and age restriction
